The West Wight Landscape Partnership first emerged in 2002 when local town and parish councils came together to promote the interests of the local area under a vision for sustainable regeneration. In 2004 the partnership was strengthened with the addition of organisations able to influence and direct the twin aims of landscape enhancement and social regeneration. The core Partnership that took forward the lottery funded scheme in 2005 are shown below.
