Sheppards Chine Steps

Compton Bay is one of the Island's most popular bathing and surfing beaches and an important site for fossil finds. This project led by the IW Ramblers and National Trust resolved a longstanding problem of access to the beach by enabling the construction of new timber steps from the National Trust car park.
